London 17th June 2008. Besides the scheduled destinations towards numerous European centres, Montenegro Airlines has to operate between Montenegro and Great Britain, and therefore the passengers shall be able, for less than three hours by a scheduled line of Montenegro Airlines to reach the European capital-London.

On this occasion, in the prestigious London hotel The Dorchester, a press cocktail was made for the guests and media from Great Britain, as well as for media and guests from our country who have come with the promotion flight to London.

Addressing the present guests, the President of Montenegro Airlines, Dr Zoran Djuriić has reminded that it was a years-long intention of the airline to position itself at the British market.

We had in mind that London is one of the biggest administrative and business centres in the world. It is also known that Great Britain is a country the tourists of which were traditionaly oriented towards Montenegro, and thus we hope that the opening of this destination shall be important both for tourist and business passengers, who more and more visit Montenegro. Montenegro Airlines shall operate from Gatwick, which besides the mentioned groups of passengers represents a special benefit even for connection passengers.

Our flight schedule shows Wednesday and Sunday as operational days, whereas the promotion of this destination shall be followed by the special promotional tariffs. A palette of tariffs has been made for passengers in the way that the cheapest return ticket on the route Tivat-London-Tivat amounts 138 EUR (without fees, for your information the fees amount 118 EUR), the next one is 199, and 245 Eur to follow. One way ticket, the cheapest one amounts100 EUR (without fees, for your information the fees amount 66 EUR).

It is important to note that one of the reasons for the acquisition of the powerful aircraft such as Embraer is the opening of the line towards London, by which we hope to offer an even better service and comfort to our passengers.

At the press conference, besides the President of Montenegro Airlines, Dr Andrija Lompar, the Minister of Marine, Transport and Communications in the Government of Montenegro spoke and expressed its expectations that this line shall become profitable in the shortest period.

Mr Saa Radović, the Director of National Tourist Organization also spoke and declared that the opening of the first direct line and the opening of the Branch Office are the key events for the break though to the British market.
